Naas Musical Society needs a suit of armour for show

Naas Musical Society is gearing up for their production of “Me And My Girl” to take to the stage in The Moat Theatre from March 10 to 16.
Rehearsals are in full swing and the set is being built but they have encountered a stumbling block.
The show requires a working suit of srmour and the group are appealing to the public to see if anyone can help them in their quest. There are some available for hire from the UK but the hire cost is prohibitive.
If anyone can help NMS chairperson Tina O’Kelly would be very grateful for a call.
“It really would be the icing on the cake, if we could get our hands on one” said chairperson, Tina O’Kelly,.
She added: “We think the audiences will be in for a major treat, with wonderful well known songs like “Leaning on A Lamppost”, “Me and my Girl”, “The Lambeth Walk” to name just a few. There will be a wonderful set and colourful costumes and we think this show has it all.”
Tickets are on sale from the Moat Theatre Box office at 045-883030 and this year they have introduced a family ticket with 4 tickets (2 adults and 2 children) for E50 Monday and Tuesday night.
