eGovernment Award for K-Leisure Website

K-Leisure has been awarded the eGovernment Award for Best Accessible Website. The award recognises the commitment K-Leisure has undertaken to provide a fully accessible website for computer users with disabilities. The website is at www.kildareleisure.ie

This is the latest award to be received by K-Leisure, following the Gold Standard Disability Provision Award from ILAM and EIQA’s Q mark for Accessibility in customer service and built environment.

K-Leisure was up against stiff competition from Fingal County Council and Cork County Council, but were awarded the honour in recognition of their commitment to Web Accessibility. This award has helped to solidify their commitment to providing fully accessible facilities for everyone in the community.
